Bio
Hello! I graduated with a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology in 1997 from Georgia College and State University. I took my first library job working in 1997 for the Houston County Public Library System. I was there for two years as a Children's Librarian before starting in Houston County Schools at Kings Chapel in 1999. In 2003, I moved to David A. Perdue Elementary and have never looked back. I absolutely love my job of working with students and developing their love of reading and books. I started incorporating Digital Literacy and Makerspace activities several years ago to help our students make the transition to being future ready students.
I spend my time outside of work doing one of four things: spending time with my family, reading, supporting our Atlanta United Soccer team and watching Florida Gator Gymnastics and Football. I look forward to serving your students and families in the years to come!
