Hi, everyone! My name is Tamara Kirkland and I am a 5th grade teacher. I'm originally from Albany, Ga, but moved to Houston County for my fiancés job at the Air Force base. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I became a part of the Bulldog family this past year when I accepted a 5th grade position in January 2022. I have taught Pre-K for 5 years in Dougherty county. Teaching is in my heart and I am so happy to be at David Perdue Elementary. My goal is for all students to not only grow and succeed with academics, but to grow with the world around them. I can't wait for a great school year!!! Go Dawgs!!!!
