Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Nelson and I am so excited to start my 2nd year of teaching as a third grade teacher at David Perdue Elementary School!  I graduated from Georgia College and State University, gaining a bachelors degree in Elementary Education along with a reading endorsement. I am originally from Chicago but moved around while growing up, landing in Georgia while I was in High School. I truly have a passion for teaching and believe in holding high expectations for our students learning along with guiding our students to form positive relationships within our community. When I am not teaching, I like to spend my time with my dogs Eley and Goose, drawing, or being outdoors. I am looking forward to a great school year and being a part of the Bulldog family!
