Bio
I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood from Georgia Southwestern in 2002, Graduate Degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia College in 2005, and my Specialist Degree from Georgia Southwestern in Middle Grades in 2017. I have my Math Endorsement through Middle Georgia RESA, I completed the Leadership Development Program through Houston County, and I am Google Certified. In January 2002, I began student teaching at Perdue Elementary. During my time as a student teacher, I was offered a job at Perdue. I taught 4th grade from 2002 until 2008. In 2008, I was selected to become the EIP Math Teacher at Perdue and I have continued with this position until today. I enjoy working with students who need that extra support in math. I believe that all students can learn when given the love and support - and that is where I come in!
Two things that I enjoy the most are spending time with my family and traveling. I enjoy spending time with my family the most! I grew up in Americus, Georgia, so I find myself going back there a lot to visit my family and friends. I am the youngest of 4 children, with whom we are all very close. My nieces and nephew are my life and I try to visit with them as much as possible as well as attend special events. Having parents that moved to America from Greece, I get to mesh the two things I love most: family and travel. I am fortunate to be able to travel to Greece every 2 or 3 years to visit my family. The summers in between, I try to visit a new place! To travel is to educate yourself; therefore, I will continue to travel as much as possible!
