I graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, dual degree for both general and special education for grades PreK - 5th. I received my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern University. I began my teaching career here at Perdue Elementary in the year 2012.  My first year of teaching was as a 3rd grade homeroom teacher. As of 2014, I have been teaching as a Reading, Writing, and Math resource teacher for grades 3-5.
