Hello! My name is Lauren Stephens, and I’m excited to be in my 17th year of teaching. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a range of grade levels—7 years in Pre-K, 2 years in 5th grade, and the remainder of my experience has been spent shaping young minds in 4th grade. This marks my 7th year with Houston County and my time at DPES, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this community.

I was born and raised in Central Georgia, and I take great pride in giving back to the community that helped shape who I am today. In my free time, I love to travel, hike, paint, and read. I’m also the proud mom of two teenage children who keep life fun and busy!
