Hey everyone! I am Lauren Cook and I am a third and fourth grade Special Education teacher at Perdue Elementary School. This is my second year as a Special Education teacher at Perdue. While working on my Bachelor's Degree, I worked as a special needs paraprofessional for three years in Laurens County. After receiving my degree, I taught Pre-K for two years. I was very excited to begin my job and start a new journey in Houston County in 2021. I have a large, beautiful blended family. We also have 4 dogs, 5 chickens, a parakeet, and a small parrot. We LOVE all animals! Our family enjoys taking our boat out to the coast to fish, camping, and hiking. Honestly, we enjoy anything outdoors! I am very excited and looking forward to another great school year!
