Previous work history includes serving 8 years at Hunt Elementary in Fort Valley as a Math teacher, Math remediation teacher, RTI Coordinator and more. During this time I was nominated for teacher of the year 3 times, finally earning the award during 2014-2015.

My passion for being active, promoting health and having fun has led me to begin my 4th year as the PE Teacher at David Perdue Elementary. In addition to teaching PE I have also been a part of Tier 3 instruction, PBIS Coach, United Way Coordinator, Team Leader, Leadership Team Member, Code Blue Team Member, Search and Rescue Team Member and more. I have sponsored and led clubs such as Typing Club, Fit Club, Math in Motion, and plan to sponsor a Cup Stacking Club this year. For my service, I received the Teacher of the Year award at my school during 2019-2020.

I am thankful and happy to be at David Perdue Elementary. It's my work family. I am happy that you are a part of that too. Together we will do great things!
