Bio

Hello! My name is Amanda Westmoreland and I am a 3rd grade teacher at David Perdue Elementary. I grew up in the Houston County school system (graduated from Warner Robins High School- GO BIG RED!!!) and I am very blessed to be back teaching in the County which is so close to my heart. This is my 23nd year teaching and I have been at DPES for the past 16 years, teaching 3rd grade. I have previously taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade. I attended Valdosta State University and graduated in 1998, with a major in Early Childhood Education. I went on to get my Masters degree in Reading and Literacy. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and watching sports! (GO DAWGS!)
