My name is Mrs. Welch, and I’m so excited to be your third grade teacher here at Perdue Elementary!
I am proud to be a product of the Houston County School System—I graduated from Northside High School (GO EAGLES!). I earned my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College and State University, my master’s degree from Piedmont College, and my specialist degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Piedmont College as well.
When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time with my daughter, husband, and our two sweet dogs, Tillie and Turner. I also enjoy shopping, sipping coffee, eating tacos, and treating myself to a Dr. Pepper. And if you didn’t already know… I absolutely love the color purple!
I can’t wait to get to know each of you and make this school year amazing together!
